LS Tractors began as a division of the South Korean conglomerate LG, which manufactures everything from flat screen TVs to kitchen and laundry appliances. However, in 2005 LS Cable was split from the LG conglomerate and became a separate company. LS Tractors has commercial agreements with Japanese company Mitsubishi Tractors and they share technology, designs, and engines. LS Tractors formerly manufactured tractors for Montana Tractors, which is since defunct. Over the years, they’ve also manufactured tractors for the following brands: Case IH, Mahindra, Farmtrac, LandTrac, LongAgri, LandTrac, McCormick, Landini, and New Holland. They also import New Holland tractors to South Korea to sell to the local populace.

LS Tractor has three categories of tractors:
